I stopped here yesterday for lunch after cycling from Basingstoke. After a short wait whilst my order was cooked, I had cod and chips. The fish was tasty and the batter was crisp. The chips were good, not flaccid or greasy. I haven't had better anywhere else. Good value too.

Popped in on sat, customer was ranting, really think he was trying a fraudulent transaction. Camera footage couldn't be disputed. No business needs people like this. On the food side excellent as usual, , busy place for a reason. Young and professional working staff courteous when very busy. Will definitely go there again, Take the food and sit on mudeford quay

My first visit today and will definitely do so again. Everything cooked perfectly and to order (2 x large haddock, 1 large cod and chips). My missus and grandson ate everything and we all said the same thing - the best fish and chips we've had in years - and the batter was easily the best I've ever had. Thanks Alexander's, for such good grub!

Had 3 X cod 2 x large chips 2 x curry, fishcakes and jumbo sausage £42 for 3 adults 2 x teens. Chips first rate , fish a good size , great batter.. Wait 20 mins. Well worth it , just enough time to wander down to the Mudeford Club for a half back in time to hear my number called.. Highly recommend.

Food was lovely not greasy at all. Very busy but they have a one way system entrance and exit order and receive a number wait outside till number called then go and collect worked well. Staff were polite would definitely use again

Not to be missed - If you’re in Christchurch, there is no better fish ‘n chips to be had: succulent fish with delicious crispy batter. Service is only slow because there’s always a queue, but it’s worth the wait.
